Our School Day - September 2023

Schools are required to open for 32.5 hours a week. A typical day at OLOL starts at 8:40am when our gates open. The children start activities as soon as they are in class. Gates close at 9:00am sharp. Children will be considered late after this time and that is what will be recorded in the register. The day ends at 3:15pm (Nursery finishes at 3:05pm). 

At the end of the day the gates open at 3:05pm. This decision was made after feedback from families that said they would value time to mix and chat on the playground before their children came out. We politely ask you not to stand too close to any of the exit doors this could lead to bottle neck situations and result in a longer wait than necessary. Staff will only send children out once they see the adult who is collecting that day.
