One of the areas of school we have been keen to develop and enhance is Reading. For EYFS and KS1 we introduced a new Phonics Scheme last year - Monster Phonics. We then wanted to ensure we had an effective, stimulating and challenging scheme for our children in KS2 to follow. Having carried out significant research, we felt the best scheme to meet our children's needs was Reading Planet by Rising Stars.

Reading Planet develops children aged 7-11 into confident and fluent readers with reading books and eBooks for Stars to Supernova bands. Rising Stars worked with a team of top authors and illustrators to create books that capture the magic of ‘real’ children’s books. Everything is expertly levelled to ensure readers make essential progression as they journey towards the end of Primary School.
